The sharks need forwards not D. Our Defense is full for next season and we cant afford to spend money or picks on another D

I wouldn’t waste a protection spot on Anderson. He’s a UFA at that point so unless there’s an extension at the expansion draft we shouldn’t waste a spot protecting him. We will also have to protect one of the goalies, I’m not 100% sure but Merzlinkins might have to be protected, so we could easily loose him or Korpisalo. I know this is all projections but I’d dangle Anderson out there to see if they bite on him and leave Nuttivaara, or the other goalie alone.

Actually Murray and Savard (and Foligno and Nash) will all be UFAs after the 20-21 season.

There won’t be many forwards left who are eligible, Jackets have so many players who will not have played more than 2 full seasons (Lilja, Bemstrom, Texier, Foudy, Stenlund, Robinson, MacInnis, Matteau). The only vet would be Nathan Gerbe?
