Foudy will likely make the team and Wennberg will get bought out. He’s not worth 4.9 mil and I doubt we can get anything for him. Texier won’t be a center, he tried and kinda sucked at it. Anderson will likely be traded or be on a 1 year contract to be a UFA as soon as possible. You forgot to put Grigoranko on the team. Jenner will play canter. He hasn’t played a game at LW in 2 years. Last note is there’s no reason and I don’t think it’s even possible to buyout Dubinsky, his career is likely over and he will be LTIR next year.

if wennberg gets bought out leafs may be tempted. That could actually work cause he can sign cheaper (1.5-2mill) as he will be making good money from columbus buyout for 4 years. Kind of like what Ennis did. Its a better option that what I see people trading kerfoot for.

That’s probably what Wennberg is worth, maybe 3 at max. The thing about his buyout is it’s less then 500k for 3 years and less then a mil till the end of it. It’s a very inexpensive buyout compared to the 4.9 mil.

still with the extra money he may take a discount on another team unless like stone they agree to bring him back. So for instance leafs can sign him 1.6 for 3 years with the 485k he will technically be making 2ish mill and at the 2nd 2.2mill not bad for a 3c.

I dobut Wennberg is bought out. If he is my most likely landing spot for him is the penguins.
If they get rid of Bugstad they will need a center, they are familiar with Wennber and they will sign him on the cheap.

I'm not sure what Grigoranko impact will be. His first time in the NHL did not go too well. My guess is he will come in as 4C, with Jenner as the 3C. Their best option is to play Foudy as the 2C imo.
