1st point is understandable. Hertl is a good piece to build with but he’s also not locked up very long. If SJS continues to struggle I can’t see him wanting to reup with them. The value is more the fair and they get Georgiev at a extreme position of need.

Now the second one I’m not sure if you misinterpreted what I was thinking but basically Rangers give Leafs assets to CBO (If the scenario provides them) Hank (no cost to their cap). There’s really no one I can see in the Toronto roster that warrants a CBO so why not get some assets for using it. Howden has some upside and a 3 rd runs pick...
