There are a lot of qualified players eligible for this team, and seeing as it would hypothetically exist in 2 years it is hard to know who of the older guys might regress, and who of the younger guys might improve enough to make it.

This is a very interesting team that we don't really know all that much about. A lot of the depth players are older guys from the NLA - the Swiss League - with no NHL experience. However, these players are the top from their league, and play every nigh on olympic-sized ice, which does give them an advantage over the NHL players. This is not a particularly strong defence core either. I think Josi alongside Kukan and Seiganthaler will be a decent top 3 defence by this time, but there simply isn't enough skill or depth to contend with the Swedish, Canadian, or American bluelines. This team is going to have to score a lot of goals to win in front of an aging and unproven goaltending duo, but it seems like they may have the ability to do exactly that based on their top 6. The bototm 6 is also surprisingly good, as Suter, Moser, and Andrighetto are some of the better players in their leagues.

These are my picks for the team and the lines, and I welcome any opinions on who you would take instead, but please be respectful. There are a lot of qualified players and I made a lot of decisions based on who I think will get picked, rather than who is necessarily the best.
