Im a sabres fan surprise right but I need a playoff team to support

I am a die hard Sabres fan, have been since I was old enough to realize what hockey was. It's a team with a history of alot of great players but never cup success. With the stars we have now we need to be able to push ourselves into contention but somehow we arent able to do anything, when this year it looked like we might be able to step up and have a good year everything seemed to fall apart, Skinner played horrible, Mitts got sent to the AHL, Montour wasnt the player that was expected and we'll...we missed a 24 team playoffs. Idk what we can do to improve, honestly we need a 2C to fix our problems offensively and we need another LD.

I guess now that the monotony of all that is over I was wondering who I should support in the playoffs. Please send suggestions and try and pull me to your fan base! I will support anyteam except for the leafs, not because I hate the leafs...but I have a good rivalry with some GTA area people and Id like to keep it going.
