It might be a start for what an asking price for Eichel might be. I already know how badly I'm going to get flamed, so don't take this trade at its face value. I brought this up in a Discord, and somebody said that Buffalo would want Makar instead of Byram for the value, but I don't know.

Buffalo would ask for both Byram and Newhook if they wanted to go the prospect route. Also, 2-3 late 1sts aren't as valuable to them as 1-2 high 1sts would be.

Kadri would be closer to home which makes sense in theory, but realistically speaking I think Buffalo will be on his no-trade list given his history with Ristolainen among others.

That Namestnikov trade makes absolutely no sense. Why would Colorado pay Ottawa to take Namestnikov off their hands when he's an UFA this offseason?
