Solid line-up, maybe a weak 3rd line only because those guys are so young

Patrick is still not supposedly ready.
Whether he will remain an NHLer is starting to fade.

Rather pay to keep Grant or Pitlick over Braun. Hagg is good enough on the third pair. Not a huge fan of JVR on the 2nd line. Would rather see Laughton or Farabee on that line instead.

Braun>>>>>Pitlick, Hagg, and Braun. I can maybe see an argument for one of those two over JVR, although JVR's been one of our best skaters this year.

I'd rather have Pitlick or Grant on the fourth line instead of Sandin based on how they played this past year. Hagg is fine on the 3rd pair so if it means we can't keep Braun, but get to keep Grant/Pitlick I'm all for it.

JVR doesn't have the right skill set to play with Hayes and Konecny. JVR usually lingers in the neutral zone before he enters off the rush, and Hayes and Konency can push the play into the zone. If the other team is backchecking well, it's basically up to Hayes or TK to create a chance with 2 defenders and help coming. Much rather have Laughton there because of how well he fills the lane and drives to the net. JVR doesn't have enough urgency on the forcheck to match up with Hayes and TK. Farabee is also an option on the second line. Didn't stand out a ton this year, but he was solid with Hayes and TK.

I'd have these lines:
Giroux - Couturier - Voracek
Laughton - Hayes - Konecny
JVR - Frost - NAK
Laughton - Grant - Raffl
