Description
Trade 1: NJ gets a top winger to play with Hughes, Van gets a top 4 dman

I see the trade as Boeser = Severson and 1st, Juolevi and Stetcher (replaces Severson) as a bit better than Boqvist, therefore swap Rousell and Wood who are similar players on similar contracts one is just younger

Trade 2: Rumours have Anderson being shopped this summer with the asking price being a second round pick. He is coming off a down year and a serious injury. My offer is a 3rd and a prospect.. if Columbus fans get all up in arms the 3rd and prospect could be switched to a 2nd in 2021

Trade 3: I’d be fine keeping Demko and making him the starter but it seems like they will bring Marky. Detroit gets their goalie of the future for the latest of their 3 second round picks and a swap of struggling bottom 6 forwards in Beagle and Helm. Vancouver does this as Helm only has one more year left on his deal where Beagle has two.

Trade 4: The NHL allows for one Compliance buyout..Vancouver cuts ties with Loui.

Outlook: Vancouver gets below the cap without the fear of performance bonuses. The following year Vancouver will have close to 25 million in cap space with (Pearson, Sutter, Helm, Edler, Benn and Baertschi coming off the books) to pay Pettersson and Hughes

Seattle protection would 7/3/1

Pettersson, Miller, Virtanen, Horvat, Anderson, Gaudette, MacEwan/Lind
Severson, Rafferty, Tryamkin
Markstrom

Overall this is a fairly young big fast team that should allow for the Canucks cup window to be open for sometime and hopefully finally end the cup drought on the West Coast

Columbus doesn't even consider that for half a second. Depth RWs are not a need. Anderson is of interest because, this past disaster season aside, he's been an exceptionally good goal scorer. But we also already have Bjorkstrand, Atkinson, and Bemstrom all at RW, and for fourth-line and/or developmental guys we already have Stenlund and Sherwood and TFW. It might make a small amount of sense if we were getting an upgrade, or getting decent value in exchange for giving up on the bounceback gamble, but a 3rd isn't going to cut it.
