Trades
1.
DET
  1. 2020 1st round pick (LAK)
  2. 2021 4th round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Conditional 2021 4th round pick becomes 2021 3rd round pick if Cholowski plays in 50 percent of games in 2021 season.
LAK
  1. Cholowski, Dennis
  2. 2020 1st round pick (DET)
Additional Details:
LA is very deep with forwards in the prospect pool, but needs that top pair Dman. LA leverages the 2nd overall pick by rolling the device moving down to 4th, getting the former 1st round LD offensive Dman and the 4th overall pick, knowing that Detroit will take either Byfield/Stutzle. Ottawa really needs the game changing center, which would allow LA to take RD Drysdale. If per chance Ottawa takes Drysdale at 3, LA can still grab the potential elite center/wing.
2.
DET
  1. Murray, Matt [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Yzerman rolls the dice that Murray will bounce back while splitting time in goal for the first half of the 2020-21 season, eventually taking on the #1 position in goal and allowing Yzerman to potentially trade Bernier at the 2021 trade deadline.
PIT
  1. Hirose, Taro [RFA Rights]
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (EDM)
Additional Details:
Pittsburgh is moving on from RFA Murray, now that Tristan Jerry has taken over in goal and they can't afford signing both RFAs. Getting a promising wing and a 2nd round pick in the 2021 draft is probably the best return Pitt can get.

Why would u want to do that. Just draft Drysdale at #4. Byfield is starting to grow a reputation of being a lazy, non hard working forward is who is not defensively responsible. Which is one of the main reasons people see Stuzle going over him.

Kings decline, our forward pipeline isn't stacked. We have 1 top 6 projected winger in our pipeline and that is Kaliyev.

Even as an RFA, Murray is worth way more than that

I'm so sick of people comparing Byfield to Malkin. Byfield is a really good goalscorer, however he is somewhat limited in how he can score them. Malkin can score in a million different ways. Malkin is an elite playmaker too, Byfield is not. Lastly Malkin is a big hitting physical player. Byfield is not and for a 6'4, soon to be 6'5 player, I find that very concerning.

GMJR is a swindler.
He got Kahun for Maatta, He got a pick for Gudbranson.....he'll get more than that for Murray.

I've been saying this for some time. He's gonna drop. Stutzle is the better player there. People have Rossi over him at this point.
If he goes in the top 5 I'm putting him at the bottom of it. 4-5.

Truth is the draft is a long ways away and teams are gonna have a lot of extra time to break down film and really look guys over. Hype will die down and you will be looking at smarter decision making I think.
And I too agree, Dry is going at 3-4. Top defenseman in the draft, and he's a righty. Considering almost every team wants to move the puck from the Right point that is huge.
