If only Burns didn't have a 3-team trade list condition on his contract...sadly, OTT will not be in there and thus SJ can't move him there.

Not that OTT would accept it anyway...I don't think they need a 35-year-old defenseman at their current state.

I don't see anyone giving up that kind of haul for Brent Burns, least of all a rebuilding team.

Burns is 35, and makes 8mil until 2025. He's basically a timebomb and he's already starting to decline. That contract will be a full on disaster within 2 years.

He’s not decking yet the whole team blew and yet he was still putting up decent numbers, we pair him with a stud defensive d man he will be good for 3-4 more years maybe the last year sucks
