If by some miracle the Jackets won the 1st OA pick...and took LaFreniere, their talent level and depth of talent would improve exponentially. It would be very difficult to get Wennberg & Anderson into the lineup. Wennberg would most likely then be bought out, and Anderson's rights most likely traded to the best offer (Western Conference team since we all know that Jacket's players sent to other teams seem to thrive...Wild Bill Karlsson, Anthony Duclair, Sonny Milano, etc.)
Top line of LaFreniere, Foudy, & Bjorkstrand would be entertaining to watch.

I know, this is such a dilemma. Never root against your team.
I guess all of the "play-in" teams have a silver lining if they lose, something to look forward to.
And if I remember correctly, the draft lottery is the same day as the last scheduled games (game #5) of the play-in round, so they won't have to wait long to find out.
