No thanks. Capitals already have an elite RHD. Wild would need to add more for the capitals to consider this deal. Dumba also doesn’t look like himself. Hard pass from the caps

Fehervary or Alexeyev Aren’t going anywhere. Capitals would be idiots to move either of them.

I don't think any team is touching his contract and it would be a bad look for Guerin to trade him right when the shiny new contract he gave him last offseason kicks in. For better or worse, Spurgeon is here to stay.

As for the trade, Boldy will be in college next year and probably will see some time in the AHL before he's ready. I'd imagine the Caps are looking to win-now and would prefer guys like Staal or if they want younger players then Donato or Greenway. I think we're probably looking at something like Dumba, Staal, and some more for Kuzy

Spurgeon is more of a win now option than dumba

For the record, Dumba has looked way better since the season resumed. He was a force in our scrimmages and by all accounts was great in the exhibition game (I wasn't able to watch but had the radio on). I think he's trending upwards again but I guess we'll see this weekend.
