My thoughts: Embrace the tank and sell, sell, sell. Alternatively, Brodin is young enough that we can keep him and still have him play a significant role a few years down the road.

Sorry about the Foligno trade, Canucks fans. I don't like it either, but VAN still seems to value toughness, and Baertschi still seems to have no place on the roster. It's not something I would WANT to happen to you, but it is something I EXPECT to happen.

I like what Hartman can bring, but I just don't see where he fits in Boston's lineup.

Toronto's not moving Mikheyev.

Foligno better have a damn good season if Vancouver's giving a 2nd for him. They don't need to trade Baertschi they need to move Beagle.

If Nordstrom walks, BOS could sit Lindholm next year and have Hartman find his way onto the 4th line. At least that's what I think would happen, especially considering that they value toughness (see: the Danton Heinen trade).

If Foligno scores at the same rate he did this year while maintaining remarkably strong defensive play, I could see him going for a 2nd like that.

They'd rather move Kerfoot or Johnsson for sure, but I don't see this as completely far-fetched. Still, I could see a Jason Zucker-style package coming back; maybe Kerfoot, a 1st, and someone like Jeremy Bracco?
