I kind of like it. I don't want to give up that pick because I really like the guys projected to go around 15 and I think Pittsburgh is trending downards so if they defer the pick it could be a high one. But... to get a young top 6 skilled center without trading Brodin or Dumba is tough to pass up.

Call me crazy but I'd almost be tempted to move 1OA to LA or Ottawa to select Byfield or Stutzle. I still think this team needs another center and having one of those two on your top line with Strome behind them is just what the doctor ordered.

The thing is that Brodin or Dumba have to move after this upcoming season I’d think (unless a stupid protection trade is made with Seattle). I think if the Wild can get Strome without giving them up then you gotta use one to try and get a right handed winger, maybe Kapanen or Boeser?

I don’t think Ottawa or LA does it, but another interesting idea would be to offer Florida 1st and Donato for Barkov. You just know he’s leaving there the second his contract is up.

Yeah I agree completely. I don't love the idea of moving one of them for a winger, I'd try to move them for a true 1st line center and play Strome at 2C like you alluded to in your last two sentences.
