Yeah, he's the only guy in their top four who's young and still cheap. There isn't an immediate replacement for him in the system either. In a vacuum, a slightly higher pick than #19 is close to fair value for Fabbro, but NSH has no interest in trading him. Even if the Preds were going to tear it all down and rebuild, Ellis, Ekholm and even Josi would likely be on the block before him.
