Totally. Tooootally. Contending teams trade two core players that are very young, and at least in one case, very cheap, for absolutely nothing all the time.

Seriously, that boston trade is so lopsided it made me stop looking at the rest of it. Bruins downgrade at two positions, get older, and spend more money, just to gain a guy they stick in the AHL and a 6th round pick.
