Description

Glory days are over, but there is still some potential life with Crosby and Malkin. The team needs to get younger and get some grit back on the team. Johnson, Bjugstad, and Schultz have to go. Schultz is UFA so that's easy. I think it's time for Murray to move on.
But maybe the blockbuster trade would be to move Letang back to Canada and have a freshish start on defense. And, I think its time to for Hornqvist to move on as well. He isn't really fitting the system anymore and 5.3 mil on the 3rd or 4th line isn't cutting it.

This end result, younger. More skill on offense. Younger on D...definitely less experience but also not slow.
