Description

I added some depth scoring in Brassard and Grant, upgraded the defense by signing DeMelo, Lucic is in LTIR so i could have more money to work with. Murray has recently been rumored to go to CGY so I traded Rittich for him since Talbot is probably going to resign. If Valamaki isnt available then resign Forbort and if needed send Yelesin to the Minors. I feel like I may have accquired to less for him. If needed switch the second with AZ's first rounder.

Imagine selling a super star for a decent top 6 rental, a solid young 3C (the piece with the most value coming back) and a 2nd then going and selling that young center for a 3rd. This is really subpar

yeah you just dump Lucic on LTIR because that will happen.

And the penguins hang up on that offer. Like they are going to down grade on goalie just because you need a better one for a 3rd.
You need to give to get.

Penguins do not need/want a goalie. Make it two 2nd's and they might listen, then flip Rittich. But a 3rds and a goalie are not interesting.
