Retaining 500k isn't the biggest deal because of how much money they have but they've got some big time contracts coming up so yeah. The mock draft I saw last week on Sportsnet said the 8th overall pick could be Alex Holtz.

Cuz eichel is tired of sucking lol and Holtz will take some time to get super duper duper good and who even know if Holtz is going 8th could be anyone. But sabers have had a long time of sucking at 8th overall picks so I think this works out pretty okay. I wanna say it's even but I'll have sabers fans telling me maybe it's too much or Habs fans saying it's not enough idontknowmanlol
