Thats fair but how Toronto would need to upgrade their offence in free agency or something. My issue with this is Toronto would have a ton of guys to protect on D for the expansion draft

Protect 8 players instead of the 7-3-1 system. Protect Marner, Matthews, Tavares, Pesce, Fleury, Rielly, Muzzin (insert someone else here) and a goalie. Anaheim did it to keep Manson, Montour Fowler and Lindholm when vegas came into the league
