But CGY won't trade theur Cappy and move on with only less than 25yo Def (Top4 because of Brodie)

I think Giordano to MTL could work, but I don't think CAL wants draft picks. I think they want a body... It wouldn't be a stud prospect like Romanov... I doubt they'd want Kulak back... Chiarot isn't going anywhere... Mete isn't quite enough... It's not that easy to satisfy CAL with the assets MTL has to offer. I agree though that the proposal mentioned in this post is a little pricy.
