Description
1st trade: self explanatory Carolina needs a goalie leafs need a right shot d deal probably involves a sign and trade with Freddy
2nd trade: St. Louis needs to clear some space to sign the captain, and dermott could be a nice fit on the left side there with j bo leaving, adding a top 20 pick in a strong draft and a progressing prospect should get the deal done considering St. Louis wants Pietro back.
3rd trade: cap savings
4th trade: Anderson looking for a change would be a great fit here strong power forward changes the dynamic, adds a different element, Riley Nash would be a nice addition little rich of contract but is a right shot center who can win face offs and penalty kill something we don’t have thus why hyman always takes draws on the Pk
5th6th trades: just cap savings

Signings
Cody eakin: again another gritty center who can play kill penalties and win draws limited offensively but would be a good addition

Bringing back Clifford to bring that grind and hitting game that we lack
Czarnik: role guy who can skate and finish checks
Schenn: familiar face has looked good with Tampa in the few games he’s placed should be fine in a limited role here
Greiss: should be a good tandem with Campbell to spilt the games down the middle with Freddy leaving

Canes or Jackets don't even consider those deals... but if what Friedman somehow says is true, then Anderson to the Canes is a fit, but definitely not at that price.

The Canes deal should at the least involve Freddy + the Pens' 1st + Liljegren for Pesce.

Far as the Jackets deal goes, Leafs will need to offer a lot more than that... picks and prospects likely since those are two good players and the Jackets can use that ammunition to restore their depleted picks/prospect cupboard.

Greiss isn't coming that cheap and canes don't need a goalie that badly to ignore that inequality
