Only way jets consider Laine to CAR is if it’s Laine for Pesce + Necas + 2nd which is unrealistic so I mean

Three of the four listed D-Men are UFAs and Bean was already added to the trade. I understand that Pesce is valuable to Carolina, and this trade probably makes them worse. It's more for the hypothetical Finnish top tile.

You need to give to get, throwing excess players assuming the other team will be ok won’t work. Quality for Quality is what the Jets are looking for. We need RHD (and I have zero interest in Vatanen) and 2 C. One of Pesce or Necas or both of Peg adds.

Necas can't play center and players they can sign + picks is better than nothing
