Way too much cap to take on for a first three years down the road for a team that will be a contender. The third is a wash with ours, so easy pass.

No the first round draft pick is three drafts away. I’m not sure GMs like to make trades with that uncertainty.

oohhhh yeah, I read that wrong. Even with a 2021 first that trade doesn't go through. Goldobin will be in the KHL, and Tryamkin is a bottom pairing d-man. It's the definition of scraps.
