I doubt NJ add a prospect to that trade.

Also Fehervary is above Alex right now.

Yeah, I don't see how a late 1st + Kempny gets you Palmieri retained + a good prospect as you suggest. You'd likely have to add to the current deal as WSH to get Palmieri retained like that -- NJD isn't adding.

It’s Kempny + B prospect + 1st for Palmieri. You read it wrong wink

Yes. It is still a Cup contender, even after overpaying Pinho and letting Sprong and DIllon walk to overpay for a backup goalie and a #3D. smile

Since Tor fans keep offering Johnsson for Jensen, how many more goals does Palmieri score on a line with Vrana and Backstrom than Johnsson does, if either can bump Oshie? Palmieri has a 30 goal season under his belt, but Johnsson is five years younger, speaks Swedish, and doesn't cost a 1st round pick, which the Caps can then use or trade to make a longer-term addition.

Johnsson's also coming off major knee surgery, so he carries some significant risk. Pretty sure he's a LW too.
