Description
AZ is going under 25 to cut payroll/salary and wanting to recoup draft picks.

Not sure how far off I am on value for either of the trades. figure on the rangers trade i'm reasonable. maybe need a 3rd instead of a 4th. fills holes in the wild and fits needs of the other teams. rangers coach loves greenway and it fills in their RD a bit with term.

If they wanted a bandaid fix at C for 1 year they would have kept Staal. My guess is that they swing for the fences in an offersheet or blockbuster trade to get real top 6 C long term

That Rangers trade isn’t enough value for the Wild.

The last thing NYR needs is another RD

I think Guerin wants more speed and Strome doesn't really do that. I also think because of age Stepan isn't a fit either, although if all Guerins other plans fail then I could see that trade happening.

I think he's taking the same approach to Centers as the Twins took to Starting pitchers - get a ton of them that have 1 year of term and see who pans out.

I'm guessing they have something like that in mind too, offersheet or 'blockbuster' trade. I'm just trying to keep it within expectations and following his pattern so far.
