Description
Qualified RFAs
- Max Domi
- Victor Mete
- Xavier Ouellet
- Noah Juulsen

Unqualified RFAs
- Andrew Sturtz
- Aaron Luchuk
- Antoine Waked

UFAs
- Dale Weise
- Christian Folin
- Keith Kinkaid

UFAs and unqualified RFAs all walk. Domi gets signed to a one year deal to prove himself, and so the habs can see if he can play well on the wing.

Juulsen - $700K in NHL, $150K in AHL
Ouellet - $800K in NHL, $500K in AHL
Mete - $1.75M x 2 years
Perlini - $917,831 (Qualifying Offer)

Kovalchuk signs a league minimum contract, with performance bonuses. Similar to Plekanec, if it doesn’t work out, there is a mutual contract termination and he signs in the KHL. Greg McKegg gets signed as a 13th forward that can slot in anywhere on the 4th line if anyone gets injured.

Hudon gets traded for another depth guy to get a fresh start somewhere else. Weal gets traded somewhere. If we can’t move him, he gets sent to Laval. Lindgren gets moved somehow, and worst case scenario he gets loaned to another AHL team. Whichever one of Perlini/Baertschi don’t make the team get waived and play in Laval. One of the NHL D might get traded so that Juulsen can make the roster, or injuries could help, or we waive Perlini and go with 8D.

AHL Lines:
Baertschi - Vejdemo - Belzile
Teasdale - Poehling - Ylönen
Khisamutdinov - Dauphin - Hillis
Lucchini - Blandisi - Veilleux
Ouellet - Brook
Leskinen - Fleury
Olofsson - Juulsen

ECHL Forwards: Hayden Verbeek, Michael Pezzetta, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Liam Hawel, Samuel Vigneault, Pascal Aquin, Brent Gates

Very conservative, borderline boring tbh, but very Bergy-like therefore very likely to happen. Good job.

Detroit might not even resign Perlini and then you could get him for free.

That’s what I like, some people like gm_jeanguy thinks it’s boring, but not me. It’s very realistic
Some points I need to bring
    1. Juulsen need to pass through waivers to play in Laval #nogo
    2. McNiven can refuse to play in the ECHL since he’s not on is ELC
    3. AHL lines, Dauphin will play top 6 and Hillis need to play C IMO

    Great job

Question for you, where can you find on Capfriendly the Qualifying offer for RFAs ?

Ideally Juulsen plays in the NHL, and I’d be fine to go with 8D as long as our extra forward can play C. Or we could trade Mete/Kulak, but I’m not sure how that would look.
McNiven can be loaned to another AHL team, or switched with Demchenko.
I agree about Dauphin, I just didn’t know what to do with Poehling/Vejdemo if he was moved up. Same thing with Hillis at C. Maybe move Poehling to 2LW, Dauphin to 2C, Hillis to 3C, and one of Khisamutdinov or Teasdale to RW. But the problem is that we’re left with Poehling on wing, which isn’t ideal for him either. Anyways, there will probably be injuries, so that will help make the roster decisions not as hard.
