Description
So apparently Hudon has requested to have a chance at an NHL roster spot, whether that’s with the habs or another team. The habs will qualify him, but they’ll probably try to trade him to somewhere that he could play in the NHL. If it happens, I’d expect the trade to be similar to the Fabbri trade, where Hudon is moved to a rebuilding team for a depth C that is maybe a safer player but doesn’t have as much pontential upside. I think Hudon, like Fabbri could really benefit from a move like that, and he could end up being a steal of a pick up for whatever team acquires him. Unfortunately, Hudon’s time in Montreal is up, and I wish him well in the future.

Below I’ve put a bunch of trades that might potentially work around Hudon. Although I’m not extremely familiar with the rosters of these teams, so they might not want Hudon.
Trades
1.
MTL
  1. Glendening, Luke
Additional Details:
I’m not sure that I would want to do this, but I’ll put it here anyways.
DET
  1. 2021 5th round pick (PHI)
Additional Details:
Charles Hudon (RFA Rights)
2.
MTL
  1. Svechnikov, Evgeny
Additional Details:
Would the Red Wings do this? Hudon is certainly the better player right now, but he’s also 2 years older, and I don’t know if the Red Wings have faith in Svechnikov anymore.
DET
    Charles Hudon (RFA Rights)
    3.
    MTL
    1. Hayden, John [RFA Rights]
    Additional Details:
I don’t know much about Hayden. Would the Devils do this?
    NJD
      Charles Hudon (RFA Rights)
      4.
      MTL
      1. Hunt, Dryden [RFA Rights]
      Additional Details:
They have similar production, so I doubt the Panthers do this.
      FLA
        Charles Hudon (RFA Rights)

Which one? And why? This is mostly to start a discussion, and because I think Hudon would fit in well in Detroit.

Hudon must have as close to 0 trade value as possible.
        a 6th, maybe?

No Detroit still likes Svech, he definitely has more upside than Hudon atp. He just needs to stay healthy

Sorry either really. Lgd will get us a 3rd at the deadline and we still have some faith in svech. Just not a lot of faith or stock in hudon to make this move really
