Description

Just for fun. Drysdale isnt going to turn this team around defensively. Realistically I see him a tier below Makar -- maybe a 45 point player who is just fine in his own end.

If the Ducks can get a top 5 pick and take LD's Lambos/Power/Hughes/Edvinsson or RD Clarke we should be set for the forseeable future on the back end.

From here, the Duck's only real weakness would be a 2C.

This team will continue to struggle and other teams in the division will thrive due to the simple fact they committed to the rebuild and choose bpa. It'll be okay. But yea if Drysdale turns out like you say he does this teams future is screwed. Its like we would be the same team as the last generation just wo the superstars(Getzlaf, Perry) That said, Drysdale is a project and I hope his physical play and gap control can get better. Furthermore, if he can get the conditoning to afford him from making the mistakes in his own end like decision making. For example, no slashing at the puck or just trying to get out of the zone then he can be a really good player.
