It looks very simple how he gets under the cap but he did say he wants to keep his defence. So I wonder if he tries to move someone other than kulak

If we’re going to move a good player, I don’t see why it wouldn’t be a defenseman. We’re way deeper there, with Ouellet, Fleury, Leskinen, & Olofsson in Laval.

We can just go with 22 players, then we can have cap flexibility. Then Vejdemo can get more ice time in Laval as well. It makes no sense to trade Byron. His value won’t be high because of his down year, and he’s really important to this team, offensively, defensively, and as a leader.
