Description

Only 1 major move (RNH to play 2nd line C), resign Bernier for a couple years. Have to pay Larkin after 2022 season, so can't burn it all down in UFA land. I think they extend Fabbri during this season as well (as long as his play continues the same pace, probably in the 4.5mm range). Zadina needs to be extended too, but has less control than UFA Fabbri.

Raymond starts in the AHL to get his feet wet with smaller ice, probably graduates quickly. Berggren moves to the AHL as well, but doesn't graduate as quickly, same with Johnnsson. Seider graduates, given a big role. Veleno and Rass graduate permanently, along with Smith. McIsaac graduates, but I don't think it needs to be permanent (Dman take a little longer).

I think it would need to be at least $7.75m+ for him to leave. Anything less, and I think EDM would be happy to sign him - anything more, and maybe EDM entertains trading/not signing him. However, I don't see him leaving EDM and think they get a deal done.

Reportedly Ryan Nugent-Hopkins wants 8 years $64 mil to stay in Edmonton he's not taking less to come to Detroit. 100% Nuge will stay in Edmonton he and Holland will get a deal done within the next year or so no hurry.
