IMO Thompson will be on the team next year, so moving him is not on my agenda, but that is a trade that would be hard to pass.
Ryan was Skinner's center during the 2016-'17 season that Skinner got 37 goals.
IDK if Rittich is an upgrade over Hutton, but with him it gives the Sabres some flexibility to choose 2 of 3 GK.
Emilio Pettersen is a decent prospect. His assists and pts ranked 6th and 4th respectively in the NCHC last season as a 19 yo.
The third makes the trade irresistible IMO.
The cap is closer than one would think, it may take some tinkering but it could be doable.
