Personally I don’t see him budging unless Sanheim is in there, Ghost is too risky. Not saying this is bad but I don’t think its something he would accept

You're absolutely right, and I don't blame Cheveldayoff for holding out this long. It's kind of a crappy year to have Laine's camp to ask for a trade, with how the market and world is right now. Realistically, one of Sanheim or Konecny should be the main piece. But with the crunch WPG is in because of Laine's request, I feel like they're getting low-balled by every team.

If Laine actually gets moved, I think WPG gets fleeced by the receiving team simply because of that.

Yeah mostly fair and a ton of money returning there

With Ghost being underrated/Laine being overrated

...honestly still too little as Laine can fetch a ransom

For sure... it's really a dream at this point if Cheveldayoff gives in for peanuts due to the situation. I think if both him and Laine's camp are adamant on shipping him this offseason, he looks for one key piece in a return bundled with picks/prospects. For example, Ekblad from FLA plus more. I think Sanheim and Konecny are the two names he wants either of from Philly.
