If Miller still wants to play he obviously slots in as backup

While its likely Lindholm and Manson still play together I would like to see a top 4 of

Lindholm-Shattenkirk
Fowler-Manson

Seeing if playing with Shattenkirk can get Lindholm more involved offensively would be worth it to start the season, and Fowler plays best with a stay at home type defender like Manson

Lundestrom, Mahura, Guhle, Hakanpaa will all more than likely get 15+ games in the NHL with how we like to rotate our young guys between Anaheim and San Diego

I would say the team is improved overall but not enough to make a playoff push without a step forward in production from the young guys (Steel, Jones, Comtois, Terry) and a bounceback year for Rakell

Gibson should have better numbers this year as long as the D core stays healthy unlike last season.
