Description
Yes, I do believe that Rossi is NHL-ready right now. He IMO is that good already. Would not be surprised if he ends up as the 1 or 2C at the end of the season.

Dumba on the third pair? I know Soucy was a positive surprise this past season but that's a reach.

Rask will get at least 27 games to meet the Seattle draft exposure requirements.

Before I would have said Rossi gets 9 games to get a taste and then sent back but since they'd need to send him to the OHL or Europe, I think they might just leave in Europe since roster spots there might be hard to come by as teams try to find places for their prospects to play. Since Rossi already has a place to play, just leave him there and give him a look next year.

Rossi shouldn't be anywhere near the NHL. I don't see Fiala and Kaprizov on the same line, they'll be split up to even out the lines scoring abilities.

I really want to see a Greenway/Bjugstad/Foligno line and let them just run over teams with a heavy forecheck. Put the centers wherever, but I think the wing combos will be Greenway/Fiala (the coach really wants this to work), Parise/Zucc, Foligno/Kaprizov, and the 4th line of Strum/Rask/Hartman (until Rask gets enough games played for expansion requirements).

Personally, I really, really want to see Ek in between Fiala and Kaprizov. I think he is the perfect player for the job.

I don’t see any long-term benefit of Rossi playing in the NHL this season...regardless of how NHL-ready he might be.

The more Rask plays the better.
