Taking Neal on, I think you aren't far off at all. A hell of a lot closer than almost every other "fair" trade

I'll give you the typical ACGM response...

Leafs fan: Leafs say no. Why would they trade Matthews when he's much better than McDavid is? Nylander isn't going anywhere. He's the best scoring winger in the NHL.

Oilers fan:. Are you on drugs? Oilers say no way. McDavid might score 300 points this season. Matthews isn't even as good as Draisaitl is. Nuge might even be better. You can have Neal but the Leafs would need to add a 1st with Nylander to get him.

Ya, I was going to do Matthews and Nylander for just McDavid, but that wouldn't work cap wise for the oilers, so I thought I'd through in Neal. Probably some retained salary on Neal.
