had this idea from a spur of the moment post in a forum about possible NHL expansion.

"Jeff Bezos could create a team (actually several lol) and the NHL would laugh hysterically as they would raise the price to $1B and Bezos would shrug and get someone to get his sock drawer (that's overflowing with cash) to pay....."

that's so true lol.

if JB wanted to create a team (or two) I think the NHL would bend the rules in all ways possible just to have his revenue in the league. Salary cap--forget it. etc.... here's my best guess at 2 Jeff Bezos owned and run teams. he basically says: give me all your expensive or overpaid or LTIR or old players and he'll still have a great team and imagine the cap space it gives the other teams lol...
