Does it make any sense for PIT to go with 11 F and 7 D???

The top-6 and buzzzzzsaw are kept intact.
McCann and Erod are the extra forwards which would play shifts here and there with each of the 3 Centres.
for special teams, it works out as well. adding Riikola on D helps lessen the load for matheson/ceci/ruhwedel/etc....

I’d probably keep 12-6 just because malkin/Crosby aren’t getting younger and save their double shifting for playoffs
