You gotta pay attention to the other teams cap space. Vegas doesn't have cap to take on 5 million AND retain 3.5 for two years.

So VGK figures out a way to trade Fleury, only to end up with a higher cap hit after the trade...

fixed it. The Capitals would not be in a good spot either way. I think they should go after Rask or Halak in BOS

Better to just sign a guy like Miller/Anderson/Howard or trade for Rittich/McElhinney for cheap if possible. Don't need to take on Fleury's cap, especially with Samsonov needing a new contract next year.
