The only reason I would never make this deal is because of Caufield's upside. He'll probably turn out to be a solid 2nd liner or a decent 1st liner but there is that crazy elite talent he's shown glimpses of which he could become. Because of that chance he becomes the next Ovechkin, I wouldn't make the trade.

Caufield, Danault and the 1st would be a good starting point for both teams.
