Philly doesn’t need Dubois, if they are buying they should look at a big time rhd or a offensive elite center they don’t have, not more of the same of what the all ready have.

I just don’t see the Dubois excitement for philly, he’s going to want the 8 million ish u don’t have going forward and produce the 60/70 points that u all ready get out of your other centers, I just think a depth package that your giving up u should shoot a little higher for something elite, possibly a Florida season in the toilet. Just an opinion on the state of flyers and future cap

I love playing into their strengths honestly. Coots, Dubois, Hayes down the Center would be elite.

For Now though, I'd adjust those lines. I'd do G-Dubois-TK, JVR-Hayes-Voracek, Lindblom, Laughton, Farabee. When Coots returns go. G-Coots-TK, Lindblom-Dubois-Farabee, JVR-Hayes-Voracek. I might be too married to the idea of Hayes, Voracek and JVR together but when they were on the ice together tonight they seemed to do well together. I know it was powerplay, but still, they had some chemistry.

I see your point, especially cap wise. But with all this forward depth, the flyers eventually have to make a move or lose someone, all these forwards are going to add up contract wise at some point. Maybe they should wait and trade Frost or another piece for a defenseman after expansion, but this move gives Philly pieces to mitigate some of the injury problems this year, and I don't think hurts Philly very bad moving forward cap wise as people might think. They would still have moves they could make after the season using other players or if they can persuade Seattle to take JVR to open up more cap. If he builds off this start to the season, Seattle may not have to be paid too much extra to pick him like we all once thought.
