Description
By now you all know of the big trade. It's a huge trade. It's also very unique because superstar one-for-one deals are very rare. That's because they rarely make sense. This one made sense. Winnipeg needed a good 2c, Columbus needed scoring (they also got the better player in my opinion). In my opinion, both teams won this deal right now. Of course, in 5 years we could be talking very differently, but for now both teams came out very well.

columbus wind the trade now, but I think Winnipeg wins long term due to laine's contact. Pretty sure his QO is at 9 mill

EASILY Columbus

They are getting the better player, yes, but position, contracts, and defensive ability makes it a good deal for the jets

This is a good way of putting it.

Nobody.

What are the odds Lsine signs long term there? Slim to none.

PLD might be happy to get out of Columbus and away from Torts but he’s not thrilled where he ended up.

I doubt either of them will be there long.

Couple of pouting whineasses that will continue to be just that.

On paper. Columbus.

In reality, us users that don’t have to deal with page after page of PLD trades now are the real winners.
