Description
Alot of this is dependent on some hypotheticals mainly that we will likely have one or two LTIR guys throughout the year building some deadline cap space.

Values are also lesser than what I think they would normally be due to the quarantine time for cross border.

Let Spezza and jumbo rotate to stay fresh and whoever is playing best on the third pair together with Roy add another depth goalie just incase

Kings decline. Iafallo-Kopitar-Kempe is clicking, Roy is looking fantastic again. Kings don't have any interest in Kerfoot, and I imagine the Kings could get a similar return for Iafallo alone.

Possibly, iaffalo was strictly rental and I would assume he would probably be heading back to LA in FA. Im really not sure what values will be like this year at the deadline I'm expecting it to be small moves for taxi squad guys as the majority of deals cause no one wants to be without a guy for up to two weeks in quarantine.

You're not allowed to do conditional draft picks for resigning any more. The league nixed that with the CBA MOU last summer. Even if it were possible, Roy isn't a rental. He'll be a RFA this summer. Why wouldn't he re-sign?

The Kings are coming out of their rebuild and need players, not draft picks. While they could potentially trade aging guys like Carter for draft picks, they're not going to trade away key members of their roster without getting something significant back.

Kings easily decline this trade.

Iafallo won't come back if we ship him out without looking over the free agency for his best offer, if there is no traction on him signing here by the deadlline then I think they'll move him for a second rounder and a prospect /NHL ready player. I'm not sure the Kings will be in a playoff spot at the deadline, but as of right now they are, if that continues I'm not sure the Kings can keep selling. A few players might be movable, but I'd rather the Kings take on bad contracts for picks at the deadline to allow teams flexibility and bolster our draft stock without sacrificing potential playoff ability. The one thing I see though is Roy, Anderson, and Walker are looking like they have established themselves on the Kings blue line and won't be moved unless something impressive is coming back.
