Description

Looks like after the Vancouver debacle, Maurice if throwing the lines back into the blender. Jets have 6 legit top 6 players and an effective and reliable third line. Scheifele and Wheeler have looked awful on 5v5. Hopefully splitting them up will put a fire under their feet. I can't stand seeing them coast around for 22+ minutes per night when the rest of the roster is outskating them.

Lowry line goes out against the opposing top line for 15-16 minutes a night. Scheifele and Dubois lines feast on the middle 6 matchups for 18-20 minutes a night each (w/ offensive zone starts against opposing L1). Fourth line only sees 5-6 minutes a night.

I fully agree. Gotta split those guys up and make them earn it back. PLD should add so much more depth and defensive responsibility.
