Description

If we’re top 10 this year we draft Kent Johnson from Michigan. Looks like he’s gonna be a great center. Hopefully Nils can step in right away, otherwise Bitetto and Hajek have looked decent. I want the kids line reunited with Laf - Chytil - Kakko. Give Johnson 1 more year in college and see if he’s ready to turn pro then. I like the depth guys like Rooney, Di Giuseppe and Blackwell. $28 mil in cap space the next offseason will make things tight, but it can be done. Plus to all those who wanna trade Strome you don’t watch the team because he’s been pretty solid this year, especially given the tough year Mika has had. Keep developing and staying the course. I think in another year we’ll be able to contend and have a better idea of who fits long term and who doesn’t. Kravtsov and Barron come up mid year hopefully.

I think di guiseppe either goes and gets paid or stays to be the 13th forward, because all 3 of lemieux, blackwell and rooney have to play

I don’t think anyone can be worse than Johnson. At best a 6th defenseman. More likely a 7th who can occasionally fill in.

To me Libor Hajek is a smaller Jack Johnson without the physicality.
