Not opposed to trading Bemstrom but, another mediocre D man who will never crack our starting 6 addresses no need for us. We actually have a glut young D men right now. A draft pick or swapping prospects is preferable. Our needs are center or power forward

He would have gotten over 30 points last year if the season didn't end early in just his 2nd season. Wouldnt call him "mediocre" he's an immediate upgrade over anybody on that bottom pair and he can play solid as a top 4 fill in when needed.

Weve got Jones and Werenski, and a couple young offensive D men. If anything we need a more traditional defensemen with Savard set to go FA or at deadline. Its about team needs, willing to trade Bemstrom but inquiring as to whether there is simply a different player the Kings can offer or draft capital. I’m sure other teams would value Walker higher. Right now with our team needs and system fit i’m convinced our front office would decline

He's not an offensive defenseman lol he's a solid two way guy, not a liability lol. Its your loss, its not like Bemstrom is going to see many NHL games while Tortz is there
