The Ekholm contract is slightly cheaper than the Muzzin and I feel like they would be willing to retain on the contract even further to get the best possible return -- although maybe Covid and lost revenue makes it so NSH can't retain for another year. I think (hope) they'll get something like Ylonen, Brook, 1st (or similar value)-- maybe they get something closer to what you've proposed here, but I hope they try to hit that homerun with Ekholm if they do indeed trade him.

The Muzzin return was a 1st and two prospects, not a 1st, a prospect, and an arbitration eligible RFA already making the high end of his ideal salary range. Ekholm should of interest to enough teams that NSH should be able to find a better return than this.
