LEAFS ACQUIRE HOLTBY AND ANDERSON GOES TO LTIR

How long is Anderson expected to be out? 7-10 days right, well considering that the minimum length of time a player can be expected to miss games is 30 days or 10 games to go on LTIR, Leafs can't get cap relief that way.

All good points.....unless he is more seriously hurt that the Leafs are letting on or if Leafs decide that Campbell is their new No. 1 goalie.

The only way he can go on LTIR is with doctor clearance if the doctors say he should be good to go in 7-10 days then he can't go on LTIR. So basically the team needs to have him reevaluated and the doc finds something more serious. I don't think that will be the case as it has already been about 5 days since he got injured and most reevaluations come within 48 hours of the injury. I also don't think the Leafs view Campbell as their starter right now, maybe once Anderson returns they run a 1a 1b system with Anderson as 1b but I don't think they sit Anderson more than 2 games in a row.
