Interesting idea, but last I heard Stammer could be back as soon as a few games. Any new updates that indicate he might miss the rest of the season?

Nothing too telling other than he'll miss the next 2 games for sure. If Cooper is only talking he's out and not when he's expected back, I think this is medium to long-term.
The tone of Cooper's voice when he initially called Stamkos doubtful for the Nashville game still says it all for me.

No real clarity on Steven Stamkos injury situation. Jon Cooper only said the captain won’t play in Florida series tonight and Saturday, then he’d “work with our guys and go from there,” assuming that means the medical + training staff. Stamkos is listed as day to day #tblightning https://t.co/7hZRch3WKv

As Smith said, this sounds more like working with medical staff than getting on the ice to work with other players.

As Smith said, this sounds more like working with medical staff than getting on the ice to work with other players.

Ah ok. Shouldn’t be detrimental as long as he fine for playoffs. No need to rush him back as a healthy stammer for the playoffs is really all that matters.
