Description
Similar cap rise of last year.
Just proving that they can still roster a good team while only moving Kruger. It is only a 22 man roster but, the 2015-16 Blackhawks were also only a 22 man team the entire year.
The goalie signing doesn't have to be Condon. There are many goalies hitting UFA that can be had for cheap.

Curious why Crawfords NMC recently went to a M-NTC NMC. Seems to be a lack of knowledge around his actual contract stipulations.

Will Campbell really want to come back for that little money? I know he doesn't need the money, but still, it seems so disrespectful. And the Kruger deals, might happen but to me seems rather optimistic just to get Hawks cap space. Will those other RFAs, sign for apparently so little money?

My opinion (which counts for exactly 0 cents)...Campbell already took the big reduction to be in Chicago. $250k is real money indeed, but give him the same $500k bonus and kick the can further. I don't think it's really that far fetched and technically there is enough space to give him the same deal. Mike Condon is playing well right now. He's not a starting Goaltender, but his in a similar spot as Darling. However Condon is actually getting more playing time. That one seems a little low to me. As for the RFAs. Gotta play hard ball with Kempny. Maybe he goes back to the KHL...not preferred, but so be it...insert Gustafsson. Rasmussen is on a two way contract. Remove that and I think he'll be ok with it. It guarantees he can't be sent down and more likely to get regular playing time for his next contract. Pokka is a complete mystery to me. I'm fairly certain that he's never stepped on NHL ice before. The reason can't be a good one. They had a revolving door of dmen last year and still no time for Pokka.

Should have been more specific here. He still has the $750k 10 games played bonus. This just allows for the cap to work. It's only 250k less than this year and to be honest he isn't playing like he did in Florida and he will only get worse.

I agree with exo on the goalie situation. I just sort of picked one. The backup goalie isn't a deal breaker. Yes it would be wonderful to keep Darling or have a wonderful backup but barring injury Crawford can realistically pick up a majority of the games all year.
Exactly my thoughts on kempny which is also why I showed the signing of Gus.
Same with Moose. Removing the 2way from a contract seems big for guys like him. And it's still a very decent pay raise from where he is now.
Polka again has no bargaining tools so that is a guess but it won't be much.

Everyone here knows my opinion on Kruger deals. There is a reason he makes team Sweden's roster for every international event.

This is realistic, but I would trade Kruger to an Eastern Conference team instead of a division rival.
